This delightful light hearted musical is set in the 50's. Timothy and Jane graduate from college and arrange to meet in the park a few days later. There they meet a tramp with a quaint old fashioned piano and when he starts to play they find themselves compelled to dance. Then the tramp disappears and they find themselves in charge of the piano for a month and have to devise a way of keeping it a secret. Jane's mother is trying to organise a party for her and Timothy's parents want him to go and see his various uncles and find himself a job. Lots of very catchy songs and dancing and a variety of character roles. We are looking for a cast of about 20 with the idea that some will play more than one of the minor roles.

Fiona - Jane's friend. Age - 20s
The Tramp - Non singing role. Age - 40s-50s
Troppo - Does not speak. Must be able to mime well. Age - Teens
Rowena - Cockney accent. Age - 20s
P.C. Boot - Cockney accent. Age - 20s-30s
Augustine Williams - Timothy's uncle, a government minister. Age - 40s-60s
Timothy's Mother - Sings a trio. Age - 40s-50s
Timothy's Father - Sings a trio. Age - 40s-50s
Aunt Prue - Timothy's great aunt. Sings a trio. Age - 60+
Sir Clamsby Williams. - Timothy's uncle, in the foreign office (duet with Fosdyke) Age - 40s-60s
Fosdyke - Sir Clamsby's attache in the foreign office. Age - 30s-40s
Inspector - Age - 40s-50s
Night Club Manager - Solo comedy song. Age - 30s-50s
Asphynxia - Off key night club singer. Solo song. Age - 20s-30s
Ambrose - Manager of Gusset Creations. Comic role.
Uncle Zed - Timothy's uncle. A space engineer. Song with Tim and Jane. Age - 40s-50s
Electrode - Uncle Zed's assistant. Age - 20s-30s
There are several other minor roles.
