Conundrum:
A sort of riddle turning on some odd resemblance between things quite unlike.
Written and directed by Lucy Eyre, the disturbing yet inspirational stories of four survivors of childhood sexual abuse are portrayed as contributing factors to the cause and effect of other social issues. Each story is told using various theatrical styles, from realism/naturalism to expressionistic and physical theatre techniques.
“Conundrum” is a co-operative production and will be presented at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) in Northbridge from 30 March to 11 April 2004.
4 male and 4 female actors, of varying ages, are required.
Auditions will be held in late January, copies of the script will be available from mid January.
Rehearsals will begin late January/early February and some daytime rehearsals will be scheduled.
