ECU Student Filmmakers are making a musical for their final assignment. We are looking for both male and female performers willing to take on this challenge.
Synopsis: This is a story of a deaf-mute young lady, Lisa, who lives alone in an apartment. What is it like to live in a silent world? Even though she canÂ’t hear, there is a strong and touching melody in her dreams always. She has an amazing great sense of music, which she expresses it in her dreams and imagination. Yet one day, she finds romance with an ambitious young musician, Jeff, who has not yet realized his dreams. However, the story does not end up with a happy ending. Lisa dies in an accident on the way to attend a competition Jeff is participating. But at the moment before she dies, she finally hears the real sounds of the world. She dies smiling while Jeff plays the piano with all his heart.
