As You Wish Productions is back with another exciting opportunity for MelbourneÂ’s talented young performers, Broadway Fever!
### General Audtions have already been held ###
## Due to a shortage of males, this is a second call for any males who may be interested in registering for a second audtion day ##
Talented singers and dancers (aged 15 to 21) have a chance to work with Directors, Choreographers, Musical Directors and Producers from some of AustraliaÂ’s premier performing arts institutions including The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts (BAPA).
Those successful at audition will take part in an exciting and insightful 6-week rehearsal period and perform 5 shows at the Alexander Theatre, Monash University, Clayton in the week leading up to the 24th of January 2003. Past productions have had excerpts from musicals such as Les Miserables, West Side Story, The Lion King, The Boy from Oz, Fame, The Secret Garden, Footloose the Musical, A New Brain, Chicago, Rags, Blood Brothers, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair, Grease, Aida, Big, My Favourite Year and many, many more.
Past cast members have successfully auditioned for WAAPA, BAPA and the VCA. We have also had a number of our cast from our last show secure representation and successfully audition for professional shows.
