Community Boheme presents Red Ashes, White Dust, a black comedy about gay life and aids. It will be performed as part of Midsumma 2004, and we are currently casting the show. We need good looking (preferably toned) guys -as there will be shirtless scenes, and also some females as well. we require people between the ages of 18-30 and we need to cover a variety of roles. A couple of which are in gay kissing scenes etc, so if you're not comfortable, tell us.
Please reply to our email address by no later than Friday 26th September. Please provide contact details, and prepare a short (no longer than 5-7 mins) monologue, and prepare a CV and headshot.
We're still looking for a venue, most likely somewhere in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne or in the city.
EMAIL US even if u dont think you're good looking! there's no harm in having a go

**UPDATE**
At the moment, it looks like we'll be writing an entirely new show, which should be exciting... INCLUDING a drag role (The mother, Edna)!!! Unfortunately due to lack of funding and sponsorship, we are unable to register for MIDSUMMA `04, however we still wish to perform, so still drop us a line!
