Open auditions are being held for all roles in this Gilbert & Sutherland classic at the Town Hall Theatre, 297 Queen Street, Campbelltown.

The show tells the story of a young man (Frederic) who is indentured to a band of pirates but is free to leave after his 21st birthday. He does so with the intention of vanquishing his former mates, but falls in love with Mabel, the daughter of a very modern Major General.

Frederic becomes the victim of a lie when the Major General tells a 'terrible story' about him to the Pirates. A battle ensues as the rest of the story unfolds.

Parts include Major General Stanley, the Pirate King, Samuel, Frederic, Sergeant of Police, Mabel, Ruth and a chorus of Pirates, Daughters and Police.

Audition requirements are listed on our website www.ctgi.org. An orientation session will be held Tuesday, November 4 at the Town Hall Theatre from 7.30pm.
