It has a cast of five. A married couple in their mid-forties, their daughter (aged 15), the husband's mother (aged 84) and the wife's mother (aged 79). The play is set in Melbourne around the family mentioned above (who are Jewish)and the complications that arise. The two old ladies live in the same household as the younger ones (thus there are three generations living under the one roof).
