Shy shoe salesman Harry Witherspoon stands to inherit a fortune from his millionaire uncleÂ… on one condition. All Harry has to do is take Uncle Anthony on a holiday to Monte Carlo. But nothingÂ’s ever that easy!! A madcap musical from the authors of Ragtime.

Cast:
Harry Witherspoon. (late 20s to late 30s) A shy, sweet and insecure young Englishman, working as an underpaid shoe salesman in a dreary London suburb. Harry knows that life is passing him by but, boy, is that about to change. English accent. Large role. Tenor

Annabel Glick. (mid 20s to mid 30s) Not your average love interest, Annabel is a woman on a mission. Tenacious and feisty but capable of pathos. American accent. Large role. Mezzo soprano

Rita La Porta (mid 30s to mid 40s) A handsome hard-edged woman, extremely volatile, passionate and impulsive. Strong comic actor. American accent. Large role. Alto

Vinnie Di Ruzzio (mid 30s to mid 40s) RitaÂ’s brother. An optometrist, nervous and conservative. American accent. Medium role. Tenor or high baritone

Luigi Gaudi (mid 40s to late 50s). A boisterous and gregarious Italian. Italian accent. Smaller role. Baritone.

Ensemble (2 men/2 women of varying ages). Great roles for versatile performers with lots of doubling in a variety of parts. Varying accents

The body of Anthony Hendon (mid 40s/late 50s). Requires a very focused actor. Large role. No singing (or speaking) required.
