Trip and Hop is looking for MALE ACTORS who are interested in playing in this Gay and Lesbian Multicultural Play which might be staged for one night during the Pride festival as well as on the 18th, 19th, & 20th of August in the Rechabites Theatre.
Just to give ya a little bit of spice, this play focusses on the interconnecting lives of a totally queer family of friends. A transsexual male, a gay guy, and two lesbian partners. In this comedy, four people wrestle with one problem: How to get their gay friend a date? Simple... NOT! Not when the gay guy's conservative mother flies all the way from Shanghai to check up on his fake marriage plans and fake fiance! Bad enough? NOT! The date of "Mr. Gay" turns up at the wrong time and at the wrong moment, creating chaos along with an 'honest' robbery in the play as well. Sounds confusing? Wait till you act it! A confounding home with their lives totally screwed up in a matter of 48 hours. The problem lies in the solution of the problem. How do they salvage the situations and how an honest date can turn horribly disasterous? If you want to be a part of this madness, then contact me.
