Journey is the story of two people - Nadine, a 21 year old from Australia on a journey to become the adult she wants to be, finding herself in Toronto, Canada, and Ryan, a 31 year old stand up comedian who learns he needs Nadine to help him achieve the success he wants.
Cast still required:
Nadine (lead role) - young looking 21 year old (would consider casting someone 18-24), pref somewhere between 145-165cm tall. She's a girl who is somewhat spontaneous and avoids responding to her mother's calls. Needs to be willing to shoot one or two scenes in her underwear.
Sam (supporting role) - Ryan's agent; 40-50 yo male with English accent (preferred, though Canadian would also be acceptable)
The shoot will take place between Aug 20-28; Nadine will be required throughout most of this time; Sam likely only 2 days.
Also required, various extras for several pub scenes.
Nadine will be required to improvise a scene based on the script, playing opposite Mike Sheer (Ryan) during the audition.
Auditions will be held Aug 5th & 6th at Murdoch University. If you are available during the shoot week and are interested in either of these roles, please contact the director for the script, arrange an audition and to discuss further. If you cannot make the audition day, but would still be able to make the shoot, we may consider auditioning at another time.
