Aussie dad, Bob Stewart answers the front door one night to find an unwelcome visitor on his doorstep. Three years after the death of BobÂ’s only son, Robbo, Mick Watson has returned to say heÂ’s sorry. As the two men reluctantly confront one another, the series of events leading to RobboÂ’s death unfolds. The survivors have to face their own parts in the tragedy. The play is a strong, highly emotional exploration of death, teenage sexuality and the denial that can attend it. A ONE-OFF PLAYREADING at La Mama Theatre, Melbourne.
Premiered and produced at Chapel Off Chapel, Melbourne, Australia in 2002 and was recently produced at the Riant Theatre in New York.
*CAST REQUIRED:
Mick Watson - early 20's, fit, short hair. He has just got out of a minimum security prison
Bob Stewart - Early to mid 40's. An engineer with a good small private businesss. Down to earth bloke.
Robbo Stewart - Late teens, good looking.
