NO AUDITION REQUIRED.
I am still getting enquiries to join this course so here it is again for a fourth term.
As a previous Workshop Leader at the ITA's Interact '02 and Barking Gecko Theatre Company, and due to the success of her courses at the Blue Room in 2002, Lucy is continuing her classes in Acting, Directing and Audition Technique.
This Professional Method Acting Course lasts for 8 weeks, every Saturday morning, 10.00am-1.00pm, from 29 March to 17 May.
If you're serious about entering the acting industry or just have a keen interest in the workings of this art form with the view to progressing into community and/or professional theatre, then come along and experience the rewards of performing when you know the secrets.
The classes will give you the opportunity to learn and implement the different methods of acting including the techniques of Stanislavski, Hagen and Chekhov incorporating improvisation, stage movement and physical theatre techniques. The methods will be explored through classical and contemporary dialogues and monologues.
The group will work towards a performance piece which will be performed either as an informal presentation or developed into a full-scale production.
Course cost: $250 for 8 weeks - 3 hours per week. Maximum of 15 people per class so enrol now to secure your place either by phone 0417 971 430 or email at lucyeyre@iinet.net.au
