"A classic feel with a common touch".
This fictional story, set during the reign of King William IV, is not about a serial killer, but the persecution of one man. It tells of the vulnerability of mankind, in a place that is breeding ground for gossip and innuendo. Along our travels we meet a host of colourful characters, the brazen "street girls", an ecclectic bunch of market vendors, children from all walks of life, "the paper boy", "Jack" the local urchin, "Thomas", "Arthur", "Sally", and a troop of others. We dine at the Masons, have a chin-wag with the town Barber and a pint with a ship-load of savvy sailors. We also have an appointment with the doctors and a bit of sleuthing with the local constabulary.
So get set for a journey of a lifetime, as we venture down "The Lane".
