Stephen Lee has been in Perth just under three months now. Anyone at Bunbury, or the State Drama Festival, will have seen him lurking in dark corners. He has been a professional actor and director for over twenty years, appearing both on stage and television (including a lead role in The Bill). He has taught not only at the Method Studio, but also at Lee Strasberg and Italia Conti., specialising in Shakespeare and Classical theatre. Stephen has directed a vast range of stage work, including at the LOST Theatre in Fulham (where he worked with a young Ralph Fiennes). He has taught on the American Intern Exchange Program, and worked for some years with a professional improvised theatre group.
A memorised piece will show you to best advantage, preferably some Shakespeare although any verse will do.
Auditions on Sunday 24 November will be in the Bradley Studio behind the Octagon Theatre at UWA. Audition venue on Sunday 1 December to be advised.
Performance season will be March 7-22, 2003.
