Auditions for performers!!!!
The Bald Prima Donna, "Anti-play", will be performed for a two-week season at the Rechabites Hall from the 28th January to 8th February, as apart of the Fringe Festival 2003. The work will be rehearsed over December and January.
This will be an extremely exciting and new adaptation of this absurdist text, where ideas of movement, gesture, dance and acrobatics will be incorporated into creating the bizarre and illogical world where the characters preside in. A production where furniture will float and actors will run up walls.
Actors will need to prepare a 1 to 2 minute excerpt from either The Bald Prima Donna, or another Ionesco text for the auditions.
